As far back as I can remember, I have always been interested in spending my time outdoors, taking in as much of the natural world as I could. I think I was fascinated by every little thing that was happening, especially if you pay attention to the fine details of the world. Unsurprisingly, I rarely stayed indoors for long periods of time.
I’ve brought my inquisitive personality with me as I grew, and with me wherever I explored. Once being bitten by the travel bug in my early 20’s, I started having a hard time staying in one place for very long. Whether it was jobs or locations, I realised that I have a strong desire to add as much variety in my life as possible. I like to think of myself as a student of the world. It doesn’t matter the age or background of a person/place/thing, I always try to learn with an open heart.
My mother always reminds me of the importance of writing things down. Honestly, I’m not the best at sticking to the routine of recording my daily ventures. However, I realised it would be selfish to hold onto all of these lessons I’ve received without passing them onto others. Maybe at the very least, what I have to say will make you think. Even better, leave your input on some of my reflections, and I can learn from you as well!
